
Zachary Bowles
R&D Engineer
Zachary received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Old Dominion University in 2026 with a concentration in Aerospace Engineering and a minor in Physics. He is enrolled in the Masters’ program at ODU for Aerospace Engineering.
He was a founding member of the Old Dominion Rocketry Club, a student organization which seeks to educate students on safe practices in the design and testing of high-power rockets. He helped firmly establish the fledgling organization’s presence at ODU first as treasurer, then as president.
At AAG, Zach assists in the design of control systems for the analysis of spacecraft handling qualities.
In his free time, Zach designs rocket flight controllers, experiments with rocket propulsion technology, practices martial arts, and learns the cello, piano, and violin.
